To You, On the Day I Wanted to Let Go

When is the moment a person feels the most broken?

When do we feel the urge to let everything go?

Is it because of poverty?

Because we’ve lost our dreams?

Or because we’ve lost someone we love?

For me, the hardest moment

is when it feels like nothing will ever change, no matter how hard I try.

The common thread in all of this is despair—

the kind that makes you believe

that no matter how much you try,

nothing will get better—

not the world,

not even yourself.

In those moments,

I’ve wanted to let go of myself.

When my existence and all my efforts felt meaningless,

life itself began to lose its weight.

How about you?

Have you ever reached the deepest corner of your thoughts,

and felt the urge to let it all go?

I feel it—

every single moment.

Along with the quiet question:

“Could I ever become someone a little better?”

And if, by any chance,

you are—right now—

crying out to the sky,

“Please, just one more chance…”

To you,

and maybe to the person I used to be,

I want to say just this:

“Believe in yourself. Hold on, just once more.”

This is a letter

I’m sending to you—

from a day I almost let go of everything.

I’ve Always Wanted to Say I’m Sorry

I blamed myself,   the one who ruined me,   every single day. The desire to live well   felt like a luxury I didn’t deserve. All I could do   was endure.   Endure, and endure, and endure again.   And maybe…   one day,   a good day might still come. But the world stayed the same.   Or maybe it was me   who stayed the same—   while blaming everything else. Even trying to die   wasn’t easy. There were so many nights   I cried myself to sleep,   wishing I wouldn’t wake up the next day. Maybe breaking down would be better.   Maybe if I gave up,   this pain would finally leave me. I tried to die.   My heart died every day.   But still… There was a small part of me   that wanted to live—   because I felt sorry   for the me who hadn’t done anything yet. I looked back   on this broken life I've lived.   And I thought,   maybe if I hold on just a bit longer,   a good ...

A Small Reason to Stay

Not long ago, I had no real will to live. I was worn down by people, buried in debt, exhausted by each passing day— feeling like I was worth even less than a stone kicked around on the ground. To be honest, my life hasn’t changed all that much. But I’m writing this now because someone stayed by my side. Silently. Without expecting anything in return. And that made me want to change. We all have different reasons for living, but there are countless kinds of pain in this world— and pain, in the end, feels just as heavy no matter the shape. So I started thinking: There must be others like me. People who think they don’t matter. People who believe they have no worth. I wanted to say something to them. To share our stories—mine, yours, ours—with the world. Just one sentence: “I’ll stay with you. I’ll be your strength.” That quiet promise became the start of something inside me. Maybe I could be a small strength for someone else, too. And that’s...

There Is No Darkness Without End

There was no moment of certainty. No one ever told me, “This is your path.” That morning was quiet. The station was still. And at the end of the dark tunnel, a single light was shining. Suddenly— I wanted to walk toward that light. Not because the path was clear, not because I knew the destination, but simply because I wanted to go toward it. So I walked. One step, and then another. For the first time, I thought— maybe this is the path I’m meant to take. This is only the beginning of my journey. But to you, and to everyone reading this, I wanted to say— There is no darkness without  What does your silence sound like?   Share your story in the comments below.   #SoulBridgeVoices
